After the last team meeting, since I was taking a lot of time learning the realistic eye movement part of the project based on the expression instead of constantly working on this I was assigned to move towards changing skin colour so that I could do it with ease instead of taking on a challenging task personally.
Changing Skin colour:
So I looked into blend shapes that influenced skin colour it turns out that albedo and Emission were the one that changed the skin or material color:
I took the Emission value to change the skin colour cause it can be simply scripted into a slider:
A simple script that changes the colour on edit:
I've incorporated the UI elements into the scene that have Red, Green, and Blue sliders.
The result in Keeping a happy expression and green color:
Now that we have this it is only best to have buttons for human skin colour for your desired character to look human-like:
